I retell ecologies through paper, prints, wood, and the artist book.

As a teaching artist, I have lead courses in: Documentary and Conservation Photography, Image and Identity, The Art of Protest, Film and the Environment, Art & Ecology, and Environmental Research & Advocacy at The University of Alabama and Book Arts, Conceptual Arts, Fundamental Drawing, 2D design, and 4D Design (time-based contemporary art) at The University of Alabama in Birmingham.

More Than Surface- Curated Show, Robert C. Williams Museum of Papermaking

I’ve taught and created photography, artist books, paper, and printing(s) at the Penland School of Craft, assisted in selecting Southern Exposure Environmental Film Project film topics, made paper and restored moulds/deckles at Dieu Donne, curated photograhy, print and paper exhibitions, and have had the privilege to work in amazing places with great folks as a visiting artist.

My work has been cited at National and International Book Arts, Ecology, and Library and Information Science conferences snd journals as representations of ecological, social, and cultural issues and data.

My photographs, films, paper, and artist books are in public and private collections in the US, Canada, Mexico, South America, Europe, and Japan.
